ROGUE ONE: A Star Wars Story - Early Concept Development

Concept art created during the early development of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story at Industrial Light & Magic.

The work explored grounded realism, atmosphere, and scale to help establish the film’s visual tone during its formative phase.
The first two images below were officially released through The Art of Rogue One (Abrams Books); subsequent pieces are selected from a broader range of early visual explorations produced for internal development.

All material © Lucasfilm Ltd. Presented for portfolio reference.
